Sulthan Suresh Fazeela is a Robotics and Machine Learning enthusiast with a passion for Legged Robots and Mobile Manipulators. Currently working as a Robotics and Motion Planning Engineer at Gridiron Robotics, he is responsible for developing motion planning software for mobile manipulation of warehouse robots and creating a simulation environment on Gazebo for training and testing of Reinforcement Learning models. With a relevant experience of 0.95 years, Sulthan has also worked with Coboticca Automation Private Limited as a Senior Navigation Engineer - Consulting, where he guided a team of Robotics Engineers in developing autonomous navigation for indoor robotics. Sulthan's expertise in Robotics and Machine Learning is backed by his educational qualifications. He holds a Master of Science - MS degree in Machine Learning, Systems and Control from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, which he is expected to complete in June 2023. He also holds a Master of Technology - MTech degree in Mechanical Systems Design and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, which he completed in December 2020 and January 2015, respectively. Sulthan's technical skills include ML, Mobile, Reinforcement Learning, and Test. He has also worked with Automato Robotics as a Robotics Engineer, where he integrated ROS Navigation stack and tuned planner parameters for outdoor navigation of an ackermann steering robot. He also designed and developed a localization module fusing GPS, IMU, and odometry data, created a Gazebo ackermann controller module for controlling the wheel and steer joints of the robot from Twist velocity input, and implemented scan-based odometry using depth camera sensors and ICP algorithm. Sulthan's passion for Robotics and Machine Learning, coupled with his educational qualifications and relevant experience, make him a valuable asset to any organization that requires expertise in these fields.
